The ingredients used in teeth whitening are known to be safe if used in proper quantities and in the right amount of time. Using such products without proper supervision from a professional dentist can cause you unnecessary harm. It is therefore advisable that teeth whitening products be used under proper supervision from expert professionals. If used without proper supervision and in excess, teeth whitening products do have some side effects as discussed above.
